Born in South-Central Los Angeles to Mexican immigrant parents, Jae-P (Juan Pablo Huerta) emerged as the voice of his community—earning the title "Poeta de la Comunidad" (Poet of the Community). At just 19, he released his debut album "Ni De Aquí Ni De Allá" under Univisión Records, selling over 140,000 units and achieving RIAA Latin Gold & Platinum certification.

His follow-up "Esperanza" (2004) also achieved Gold & Platinum status, earning him Latin Billboard Music Award nominations in 2005 and 2006. From bedroom studios to international stages, Jae-P has maintained the soul of independent artistry while building the infrastructure of a powerhouse.
